First Physicians Group announces a new location for Neurology in Venice at Pinebrook Road. New location starting June 3, 2024.

Dr. Sutherland is board-certified in Neurology and has practiced in Sarasota since 2002. He directs a specialty clinic for Parkinson’s patients while also serving as a clinical assistant professor of Neurology with Florida State University. He has been teaching medical students since 1987 and earned a Ph.D. in Neuroscience at FSU prior to medical school.

His practice and specialty focus include:

  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Dystonia and other movement disorders
  • Deep brain stimulation (DBS)
  • Dementia
