With more than 20 years’ experience, thoracic surgeon Paul Chomiak, MD, specializes in using minimally invasive techniques to treat patients with lung cancer, chest and mediastinal cancers, and other thoracic disease.
He combines customized care and leading-edge diagnostic and surgical technologies to achieve the best outcomes for his patients. A key player on Sarasota Memorial Cancer Institute’s multi-disciplinary lung cancer care team, Dr. Chomiak serves as director of Thoracic Surgical Oncology. He also is both an educator and a national expert in robotic bronchoscopy.
